POST 9/11 GI BILL® FOR TRUCK DRIVING SCHOOL

As an approved truck driving school by the California State Approving Agency for Veterans Education, military veterans and their families are able to utilize their Post 9/11 GI Bill® educational benefits, including their Basic Housing Allowance (BHA) to attend our trucking school in Downey, CA.

The school's VA Certifying Official is able to assist all prospective students who are looking to use their military educational benefits with enrollment and document requirements. VA Benefits are currently only available for our Montebello truck driving school.

POST 9/11

USE MY POST 9/11 GI BILL® FOR TRUCK DRIVING SCHOOL

To attend our truck driving school and use your Post 9/11 GI Bill® educational benefits, prospective students should have the following documents for enrollment:

• Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
• Drivers License
• Social Security Card
• Choose One: Valid U.S. Passport (book or card), U.S. Birth Certificate, Valid Certificate of Naturalization, or Valid Resident Card
• DD214
• Letter of Eligibility (benefits)
• Previous training(s) transcripts (if applicable)
• Must meet program eligibility requirements

Voc Rehab

VOCATIONAL REHABILITATION CHAPTER 31 BENEFITS

Veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces can use their Chapter 31 vocational rehabilitation educational benefits to enroll in our certified truck driving school. The VR&E program assists veterans with service-connected disabilities in preparing for and training for a career as a Commercial Driver's License holder.

Apprenticeship

GI BILL® AND TRUCK-DRIVER APPRENTICESHIPS

Enrolling in a truck-driver Apprenticeship Program sanctioned by the Department of Veterans Affairs offers graduates the chance to earn a Department of Labor accredited certificate as a professional truck driver. Furthermore, veterans who choose to participate in an apprenticeship program have the opportunity to receive their basic housing allowance on top of the trucking company's salary.

After graduating from our CDLMASTER℠ Truck-Driver Training Program, we can help you connect with an Apprenticeship Program offered by participating trucking companies.
